Carbone 4 Joins the Aerospace Valley Competitiveness Cluster

The consulting firm Carbone 4 is pleased to announce that it is joining Aerospace Valley, Europe’s leading competitiveness cluster in the aerospace sector.

Like the economy as a whole, the French aerospace industry is preparing for profound changes to its business models to address environmental challenges. For an industry accustomed to building its leadership on its ability to master physical constraints, there is no doubt that the environmental transition is a challenge, but also a source of innovation—and therefore of opportunities.

Carbone 4 has a team of 200 consultants and analysts specializing in climate and biodiversity issues, based in Paris, Lyon, Rennes, and Toulouse. For the past 15 years, it has helped large companies measure their environmental footprint, implement action plans, analyze the resilience of corporate strategies in the face of risks posed by these issues, and provide training. Through its regional presence, Carbone 4 is now expanding its scope of work to include mid-sized companies and large SMEs, with a focus on specific industries.

“The aerospace sector is facing a profound transformation. Beyond the major corporations we already work with, we want to build closer ties with mid-sized companies and SMEs in the ecosystem, as they, too, are drivers of change. In addition to our physical presence in Toulouse, joining Aerospace Valley allows us to build closer ties with all these stakeholders, raise awareness of our support services, and share our tools and methods. There is a collective need to work together to make faster progress,” Stéphane Amant, Director of the Carbone 4 Toulouse office

By joining Aerospace Valley, Carbone 4 aims to further accelerate its collaborations with the sector’s business ecosystem, supporting its transition and economic performance. A regional player recognized at the national, European, and global levels, Aerospace Valley works to position its members as pioneers in the ecological transition of the aerospace sectors. Drawing on the diversity of an ecosystem comprising major corporations, SMEs, startups, research laboratories, public entities, academic institutions, and training centers, Aerospace Valley is the only community in the world that brings together all stakeholders across the value chain, spanning all segments of the aerospace and space industries.
