Reconciling corporate strategy and Climate-Resources challenges
IF Initiative
Both issues related to climate change and to resources availability will induce, in the short or medium term, structural disruptions that could be brutal and unpredictable. These disruptions will affect the business environments of companies, which means they need to prepare for them (monitor the right indicators and manage uncertainty). This is why the IRIS Initiative develops:
- Systemic and sectoral framework scenarios, adapted to the companies needs. They will explore different climate (<2°C and >2°C), technological and sociological trajectories. They will describe the scope of possible transformation of value chains in line with physical constraints and planetary limits that are now well documented,
- Support in understanding and using scenarios for strategic thinking via a dedicated pedagogical device: the Scenarios Lab.
