Mélodie Pitre

Mélodie joined the Carbone 4 team in August 2020, now as a Senior Manager. A graduate of the École Centrale Paris, she specialised in the energy sector from the end of her studies. She also holds a degree in Energy Economics from IFP and INSTN.

Before joining Carbone 4, Mélodie worked for three years in a management consultancy. In particular, she assisted several energy players in their digital transition. 

At Carbone 4, she works mainly on two themes: climate investment strategies and the carbon impacts of digital technology. 

She assists asset managers, particularly infrastructure investors, in defining and steering a climate strategy. She is responsible for the methodological development of the CIARA (Carbon Impact Analytics for Real Assets) platform. 

In the IT sector, Mélodie helps her clients to better understand the carbon footprint of digital uses, in order to control and reduce it. She is particularly interested in the impact of the development of the cloud on the increase in the sector's emissions.
