Romain joined the Carbone 4 group in April 2020 and is now Co-Head of the Adaptation Division. He is also involved in the development and oversight of the IF Initiative. This methodological development program, which brings together major European companies and leading academic partners, aims to design new strategic foresight tools that will help users better anticipate disruptions and transformations associated with energy and climate challenges.
A graduate of the École des Arts et Métiers ParisTech and the École des Pétroles et Moteurs, Romain Grandjean previously worked for an oil company for several years before joining The Shift Project in 2016. He is the project lead and lead author of two studies conducted by this think tank in partnership with Afep: “Climate Risk Analysis: Stakeholders, Methodology, and Outlook” (2018) and “Energy-Climate Scenarios: Assessment and Guidelines” (2019).
