Rodrigo joined the Carbone 4 team in November 2022, as a Senior Consultant.

Within the firm, he participates in the IF Initiative which aims to develop a biophysical modelling tool of the socio-economic system on a global scale. This forecasting tool will allow the various economic actors to project themselves into possible futures within the framework of planetary boundaries, particularly from the point of view of available resources. In the modelling team of this project, Rodrigo is the referent on climate issues and on the physical impacts of climate change on the production system and its environment.

Before joining Carbone 4, Rodrigo spent 6 years at the Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique (LMD) and the Institut Pierre Simon Laplace (IPSL) as a research engineer and project manager. In these World-class laboratories, he worked on the evaluation of the representation of clouds in climate models using satellite data as well as on data from a ground-based atmospheric observation site (SIRTA).
