Mélanie joined the Carbone 4 team in April 2024 as project manager within the Finance team.

Before joining Carbone 4, Mélanie worked as Vice President at an investment bank in the Netherlands, where she promoted and structured labeled debt products (such as green, social, sustainable, sustainability-linked bonds and loans) for financial institutions, companies, and sovereign issuers in Europe and the Middle East. Previously in London, she led a team of consultants responsible for Second Party Opinion (SPO) reports evaluating the sustainable quality of green- and social-labeled financial products issued by financial institutions and companies worldwide.

At Carbone 4, Mélanie supports banks and other financial institutions in their decarbonization efforts, climate change adaptation, and alignment with sustainability-related regulations. She leads training sessions and seminars on climate and environmental challenges in the financial sector, and gives lectures on these subjects at several business schools in Paris.

Mélanie holds a Master's degree in Management from the Grande École Program at Kedge Business School. In 2019, she received the award for best master's thesis from the UN Principles for Responsible Investment and the French Forum for Responsible Investment for her paper on : "Sustainable bonds, a lever for sustainable development in emerging countries?"
